Westport students learn about labor history and economics as they explore economics concepts like decision-making and exchanges and markets. Students also learn about the national and global economy in both historical and contemporary contexts. Labor history is explored in thematic units about imperialism, industry, social progress, and globalization throughout the middle and high school social studies curriculum.
